What accent do you have?

Here are my results. Go ahead and take it, then leave a comment and tell me what your results are. (I know, I know, it's EVERYONE ELSE that has the accent, not you. Please, just humor me.)

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

Dude, where's my accent?
How funny! I also took this as if I were speaking like a North Dakotan, and I came up with the "North Central" accent. It was hilarious and very very accurate.

Saje, this is great! I took it again as if I were in North Dakota, and it came up--quite accurately--as "North Central." Much fun I daresay.

I was Midland, but not a very high percentage. It was like your Boston score as my highest.

At first, I was like, what kind of sick joke is this?! :P But I thought it'd be fun, and I cracked up even more at the result:

Your Result: The Northeast

Judging by how you talk you are probably from north Jersey, New York City, Connecticut or Rhode Island. Chances are, if you are from New York City (and not those other places) people would probably be able to tell if they actually heard you speak.

I've always wanted to be a New Yorker... ^.^
